The Befana in Italian folklore is a Witch who delivers gifts and sweets to children on Epiphany Eve. She is referred to as the Christmas Witch. She is also a good housekeeper and she will sweep your house when she leaves. 

This Tree Topper was made by a local Witch Priest who crafts the topper and creates all the items on her down to the little gifts in her basket.
