The Triangle of Art represents the protected space outside the magic circle, into which spirits are compelled to appear in Solomonic ritual magic. Typically, the central circle is inscribed with the sigil (seal) of the spirit to be invoked. The usual form is of a triangle, circumscribed with various words of power, containing an inner, blackened circle. The purpose of the triangle is to contain the manifested entity.
In this version there is a blackened circle with a 4 inches diameter solid Obsidian scrying mirror. The equilateral, engraved wood triangle is 9 inches long on each edge and 1inch thick. The mirror and backing are held in with brass screws and turn buttons. Foam rubber pads at the points protect any delicate surface the mirror may be placed upon.
